Join Heavy Haulers for Florida Auction Month
Heavy Haulers representatives are flocking to Orlando for a month of heavy-equipment auctions. Transportation reps will be onsite, ready to book loads, at four premier auctions being held in the Orlando area during February. The first auction in the series, from Alex Lyons & Sons, kicked off on Saturday. Also holding auctions in central Florida this month are Jeff Martin Auctioneers, Yoder & Frey, and Ritchie Brothers.
“Our guys are ready to sign deals,” says Heavy Haulers president Jason Foltz, who rented an Orlando area home for his team of agents this month. “We’ll be onsite shipping equipment for buyers at all four auctions.”
Heavy Haulers offers a full package of services for auction customers. Free shipping quotes are available on site. Representatives are equipped to book transport from any of the four auctions to anywhere in the US, Canada or Mexico. For qualified customers, Heavy Haulers is willing to arrange payment terms.
Four Big Equipment Auctions in 20 Days
The Orlando area plays host to four multi-day equipment auctions in February. Among the national auction houses hosting events are:
Alex Lyons & Sons (2/3-2/11). For the 25th straight year, equipment auction house Alex Lyons & Sons hosts what it calls “The Greatest Auction on PLanet Earth.” This year’s auction, held on Avalon Road in Winter Garden, is scheduled for nine days in February. The company plans to auction thousands of pieces of equipment, including more than 250 excavators. Construction equipment, aerials, forklifts, cranes, dump trucks, truck tractors, trailers all will be available. The auction begins with two days of tool and support equipment auctions. Online bidders can join the action on the third day, when heavy equipment offerings debut.
Jeff Martin Auctioneers (2/12-2/14). Though they’ve been in business for nearly a decade, this is Jeff Martin’s first venture to the Florida Auctions at Kissimmee. The Mississippi-based auctioneer hopes to auction off more than 3,000 pieces of equipment at the auction site on Oren Brown Road in Kissimmee, Florida. Martin will operate three auction rings the during the first two days of the three-day session. The third day of the auction has two rings of activity. The first day features construction equipment and support equipment. Day two offers forklifts, generators, engines, aerial equipment and farm machinery. On the third day trucks, trailers and specialty items are up for bid.
Yoder & Frey (2/13-2/19). It’s the 43rd year for Yoder & Frey’s Kissimmee Winter Auction, held at the company’s auction yard on Southport Road in KIssimmee, Florida. More than 1,000 manufacturers of heavy equipment will be represented at this year’s auction. The meeting features three rings of auction action on each of the five days of the session. All types of heavy construction equipment are included, including dozers, articulated dump trucks, crawler tractors, lifting equipment, excavators, crushers and screeners. The auction also features farm equipment and commercial trucks, as well as new and used parts and equipment.
Ritchie Brothers (2/19-2/23). The largest of the four auctions in Kissimmee this year, Ritchie Brothers plans on auctioning more than 11,000 pieces of equipment at its annual Florida auction. The action takes place over six days at the company’s lot on Ritchie Boulevard in Davenport, Florida. Iron Planet, the online auction site, previously hosted an annual equipment auction in Kissimmee. With its 2017 acquisition by Ritchie complete, Iron Planet now hosts the online portion of the Ritchie auction. All items in the auction are available without minimum bids or reserve prices.
