Dedication: To Mike Phillips
You taught me everything I know about moving super loads. You were a great broker, friend, and
father. This one is for you.
Jamie Horvath
Expertly Shipping A Super Load
Excavator From Florida to Texas
Jamie Horvath is a leading transport agent, thanks partly to an amazing team that always strives
to help one another. This wasn’t his first super load transport, and over the years, he’s become
a go-to in the industry, which is why the customer knew Jamie could take on this massive
excavator move.
In fact,
this super load excavator transport was so large that three different orders were needed. But
Jamie is an expert in superload transport, thanks partly to his friend and mentor, Mike
Phillips. Mike passed away recently, and Jamie dedicated this transport to him.
The super
load required trailers for the fall-off counterweights and platform, and the bucket and stick.
That’s three trailers in total. There were many moving parts, but Jamie knew just what to do.

Superior Excavator Super Load
Transport Services
Once Jamie
secured the rate for the client, he went to work.
Jamie
obtained the proper permits for each load. He made sure that each driver had the proper cab card
to transport the super load across state lines.
A cab card
is a registration document for commercial vehicles that weigh more than 26,000 lbs to travel
across state lines. Jamie also pulled the driving record for each one to make sure they had the
experience to transport this massive load safely.
He oversaw
each step of the transport and ensured the drivers double-checked that each piece of the super
load was secured properly to the trailer.
Jamie
double-checked that the pilot cars had the right gear and gave the okay for the super load to
disembark on the journey to Texas.
