When the local Sheriff's office had mechanical issues with their Sikorsky S-76 Helicopter, they immediately called David Isherwood. David is a an expert hauling specialist out of our Fort Myers, Florida office. The Sheriff's office wanted a reliable and affordable company to haul the helicopter from Marathon to Fort Pierce, Florida.

The Sheriff's office had an overhead crane at the hangar that was ready to load the fuselage on a removable gooseneck (RGN) trailer. The Sheriff's office did not need to transport the rotor blades. However, the fuselage of the Sikorsky S-76C Helicopter was 9 ft wide, which exceeds the standard load dimensions.
So, David pulled the proper permits to haul the helicopter fuselage safely and legally.
The team secured the helicopter to the RGN trailer with ratchet straps at several points. This ensured the balance, steadiness, and safety of transport.
The helicopter transport was a next-day delivery, and the repair company had a mobile crane ready to lift the Sikorsky helicopter off the trailer.
