How to Ship a Touring Coach Motorhome
Shipping your touring coach can be done in one of two ways. Heavy Haulers has drivers available that can drive your RV to your front door (or wherever you'd like) or we can haul them on one of our properly rated lowboy trailers. If you're planning to ship your RV over a long distance, this may be a better option for you, as you will reduce a lot of wear and tear on the engine and tires. Your friendly route planner at Heavy Haulers is happy to walk you through the way that your touring coach will be transported, from start to finish, and answer any questions you have.
Shipping your motorhome first starts with ensuring that your RV will be transported by someone with an atlas B RV license. The drivers that contract with Heavy Haulers are all licensed, with up-to-date training for safety. The motorhome is inspected to make sure that it's in good condition to travel, and then we will carefully load it onto the step-deck or lowboy trailer. These are like flatbeds, but sturdier and lower to the ground. The wheels are carefully chained into place, double-checked for safety.
