Common Trailers Heavy Haulers Transports
Belly Dump Trailer
The belly dump trailer offers more stability compared to an end dump trailer. This type of trailer dumps the material from the bottom of the trailer bed. This ability makes it possible to unload the material in a line in contrast to a pile. Belly dumps are unsuitable for transporting material that can leak through the trailer's bottom gates.
End Dump Trailer
The end-dump trailer is one of the most common types of dump trailers. In fact, this type of dump-trailer is what most people are familiar with. This particular trailer unloads its contents from its back/rear where the trailer bed is lifted in the air. The end dump is suitable for material that does not necessarily require its rear-gate to be watertight.
Side Dump Trailers
The side dump trailer was designed to address the limitations of the end dump trailer which would sometimes tip over during offloading. A greater stability is achieved during offloading as the trailer bed is tipped to one side. The dumping can be done on grounds that are uneven and soft, hence the increased preference of these trailers. An array of materials can be hauled using the side dump trailers.
